Qualifying - The Grid

Suzuka Circuit is an overlapping figure of eight and features some of the most iconic corners of the calendar, including 130R and the – tough to perfect – Dagner curves. The weather can throw the drivers for a loop as well, being generally mixed between hot or rainy.

Usually a fast circuit, the greatest drivers show their mettle on the long curves.

2014’s race saw the terrible incident of Bianchi’s crash, which had the race cancelled and Hamilton taking home the victory at a sombre podium.
