circuit-infographic-canadaBased on its own Island of National Parkland in the centre of Montreal, this track in the French region of Canada is always a season highlight. Previous races have counted among the best in season round-ups and for good reason; the circuit hosts no other races through the year, so the F1 is always a dramatic and slippery race with high degredation, rain and drama.

The track boasts a selection of long straights divided by sharp hairpin bends and chicanes. Drivers must showcase their full skill to overcome the challenge, including the Infamous Wall of Champions looming alongside the final chicane.

Riccardo picked up his first ever Formula One win here last year, while Mercedes struggled with their brakes. Massa and Perez collided in the final laps in a accident on turn one.
