Jules Bianchi

Jules Bianchi's Driver Bio

A successful graduate of both Formula Renault 3.5 and the GP2 Series, Jules Bianchi has never been out of the top three in each of his major junior race series. Managed by Nicholas Todt (son of former Ferrari boss Jean Todt) Jules has never been far off of the Ferrari radar.

With three consecutive seasons as a test/reserve driver for Ferrari and Force India, Jules has learned the trade and was ready for the chance to jump into Formula One. In the weeks leading up to the start of the 2013 season, Jules faced almost gained his chance with a seat at Force India before he lost out to Adrian Sutil. Undeterred, two weeks later Bianchi signed with Marussia to race the 2013 season.

Despite losing out to the consistency of team-mate Max Chilton, Bianchi proved he had the pace in a tight fought battle at the back of the grid.

With several tests for Ferrari, Bianchi has proved to be a genuinely fast driver even beating World Champion Kimi Raikkonen’s time in testing.

With a driver pedigree to rival the likes of Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton, Bianchi is well worth keeping an eye on.
